How Much Does a Resin Driveway Cost?

The average cost for a resin driveway installation is between £45-65 per m2 for an overlay which usually takes around 1-2 days depending on size and £80-£105 per m2 for full install including groundwork (MOT type 3 stone and ashphalt base) along with excavating existing driveway, which usually takes around 3-4 days depending on size. There is a lot of variation to be considered, such as colours and detailing.

If you already have a solid concrete driveway, it may be possible to apply the new resin on top. However, if not, or if there are major cracks in the current driveway, then you would need to remove the old driveway first and then prepare a new solid base. Resin driveways must have a completely flat and stable base before they are laid. Which means a surface which is cracked, crumbling or could move isn’t suitable.
